day 1
My blog 5/16/19
Today was fun and interesting to see what we would be doing during this STEMmersion. When we first walked in I was very curious on what this was all about. When we first came in they started too talked to us about living deliberately and they made us do an activity on what we thought that meant. My group came up with living life with goals and intention. we did some get to know each other things like we wrote some things about us on a hand and tried to find matches, we also played a game outside with dots and you would have to move if they said something like the wind blows on everyone wearing green and if you were wearing green you would have to go to another spot. I had a lot of fun today because I have a lot of friends in this STEMmersion and that makes it ten times better. The next thing we did after lunch was take photos of nature and work on our blog. The last thing we did was yoga I did not patriciate but I did feel calm while lying on the floor and listing giving my body and brain a break from everything that’s been going on lately. I felt really good today I had a lot of fun with friends and learned a lot too I’m excited for tomorrow

Day 2 Blog
Today we went to Cox Arboretum and I had so much fun I got to have freedom and hang out with my friends. It was fun because we did a scavenger hunt to look for things of nature around the park. My group went from the bottom of list up so that we could get around the crowd. We did things like climb the tree tower and do a nature trail where walked all the way down to the wetlands where a lot of birds are. My group and I decided to just stop for a minute and listen to the sounds of nature and then we got attacked by a hornet. We also went to an edible garden where we ate different plants and flowers they didn’t taste very good but it was cool to try them. We took lots of photos there of nature and people we also had lunch there so my group decided to sit near the tree tower we got to relax and talk witch was really nice. Over all I had a lot of fun exploring and being with some really great people.
